Why are we not where we want to be? Are we still on the right track or is it time to reorient ourselves? - Let's question habits and discuss alternative solutions at the 17th Efficiency Conference !
Banner EffizienzTagung klimaneutral Bauen+Modernisieren 7. und 8. November 2025

Reassessing thermal bridges, upgrading windows smartly and using living space more flexibly - these are just some of the thought-provoking ideas that the 30 or so specialist presentations will provide. In addition, construction experts will share their practical experience on renovation and monument protection, multifunctional green roofs, sustainable building materials, heat pumps and geothermal probes, drinking water hygiene, photovoltaics and other topics.

The plenary lectures traditionally take a look at the bigger picture. Professor Jörg Probst will kick things off. In the opening plenary session, he will look back on the last 25 years of energy efficiency and explain how we can transform our thoughts and processes so that we get to where we want to be in the future. Physics professor and author Anders Levermann from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research will go one step further. At the end of the event, he will explain his theory on the folding of the world.

During the breaks, you can stroll through the accompanying trade exhibition and find out about relevant products and services. Our evening event will also take place here on Friday. Do you have a product that the construction world should definitely know about? Then please get in touch with Margareta Hollmann.

We will reveal what else awaits you in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned and secure your early bird ticket by August 22.

Detailed information on the participation fee can be found on the event website .
