Robokind Foundation

Description: The Robokind Foundation, based in Hanover, is committed to making robotics and artificial intelligence accessible to everyone and providing further training in these areas. The Robokind Foundation team is currently working on the funded project KIRIA, which qualifies employees from companies in Lower Saxony in a 20-hour free program and allows them to test artificial intelligence in connection with robotics in a practical way in the companies, for example in the use of machine vision in quality assurance.

From the end of 2025, the Robokind Foundation will open its AI lab once a month to demonstrate use cases from industry and offer interested parties the opportunity to try out AI and robotics for themselves.

As consortium leader, the Bildungswerk der Niedersächsischen Wirtschaft (BNW) is responsible for the management, control and content management of the project across all four federal states (Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein). As an active driver of digital transformation, the BNW is the point of contact for companies on issues relating to education and digitalization.
