The Prizes

As participants in the Startup-Impuls startup competition, you can win prizes totaling over 100,000 euros. In addition to cash prizes of 25,000 euros each, you’ll benefit from high-quality consulting and coaching services, memberships (co-working spaces, makerspaces), feedback, publicity, and networking opportunities.

A total of eight participants will be nominated across the various categories. All nominees will receive a professional promotional video and comprehensive pitch training. Even if you aren’t nominated, you’ll gain valuable support through discussions with coaches, participation in startup events, and access to a large network. Award Categories & What’s Up for Grabs?

There is 25,000 euros to be won for innovative, extraordinary, or other promising ideas from startup teams that have been implemented in the Hanover region since 2024 or are planned for future implementation.

We will categorize the applications as follows:

A preliminary jury decides which concepts will be invited to pitch and subsequently nominated for the main jury (see also the terms and conditions). The main jury will then make the final decision on who will receive an award on March 18, 2027.

Special Marketing Prize: Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) will award a special prize from among all submitted entries, consisting of a customized marketing package worth 5,000 euros.
