The Prizes

As participants in the Startup-Impuls startup competition, you can win prizes totaling over 100,000 euros. In addition to cash prizes of up to 25,000 euros, you’ll benefit from high-quality consulting and coaching services, memberships (co-working spaces, makerspaces), feedback, publicity, and promotional videos.

A total of eight participants will be nominated across the various categories. All nominees will receive a professional promotional video and comprehensive pitch training. Even if you aren’t nominated, you’ll gain valuable support through discussions with coaches, participation in startup events, and access to a large network. Award Categories & What’s Up for Grabs?

There is 25,000 euros to be won for innovative, extraordinary, or otherwise promising ideas from startup teams that have been implemented in the Hanover region since 2023 or are planned for future implementation.

Applications are divided into the following categories:

1. Hottest Innovation
2. Next SME
3. Highest Impact
4. Future Health

A preliminary jury decides which concepts will be invited to pitch and subsequently nominated for the main jury (see also the terms and conditions). The main jury will then make the final decision on who will receive an award on March 16, 2026.

All nominees in the four award categories will receive a professional promotional video, pitch training, and various memberships at Hafven.

Special Marketing Prize: Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) will award a special prize from among all submitted applications, consisting of a customized marketing package valued at 5,000 euros.
