Cultural diversity has long been an integral part of our working world - and if we use it correctly, it can give us enormous advantages. But without the necessary knowledge, misunderstandings and conflicts lurk everywhere. For managers in particular, it is crucial to understand cultural differences in order to lead with confidence and create a harmonious working environment.

In our intercultural training course "Understanding international employees better", we offer you the tools you need in three practice-oriented modules:

  • Optimize communication: How to avoid misunderstandings and promote clear dialog.
  • Resolving conflicts: Learn how to recognize intercultural tensions at an early stage and successfully defuse them.
  • Strengthening leadership and loyalty: Get valuable tips on how to motivate international employees and retain them in your company in the long term.

Understanding communication - building bridges across cultural differences

Communication is the key to successful collaboration - but also one of the biggest sources of misunderstanding and conflict. In this training course, you will put yourself in the shoes of international professionals and experience how different communication styles can be. You will learn how cultural differences affect communication and why misunderstandings often seem unavoidable. Together we will look at how communication habits differ in different cultures and how we can use these insights to avoid challenges in everyday working life and promote open, respectful communication.

Perception and culture - avoiding misunderstandings with cultural competence

In this workshop, we make the topic of "perception and culture" tangible. You will learn how to better understand everyday situations with international professionals and how to prevent misunderstandings caused by misinterpretations. We will also look at culture shock and work out strategies together on how you can avoid it in your team and retain your international employees in the company in the long term.

Successful in a team - understanding and resolving conflicts

Cultural differences can lead to conflicts - that is quite normal. While the first workshops in this series focus on prevention, in this module you will learn how to recognize and understand existing conflicts. Together we will develop concrete solutions to effectively resolve intercultural tensions and strengthen teamwork.


TARGET GROUP

The training is aimed at HR managers and other interested employees of small and medium-sized companies . The number of participants is limited to 15. The training modules build on each other, but can also be attended individually.

TRAINER

We were able to win Ms. Vanessa Geruschkat for this training series. She is a certified intercultural trainer and her main activity is supporting the recruitment and integration of foreign specialists in a large company. She incorporates the experience and practical examples she has gained from this into her training courses.
