Startup Compact – Your Path to Self-Employment
Are you looking to start fresh professionally and build your own business? With Start-up Compact, we work together with the Employment Agency and the Hannover Region to guide you on your path to self-employment—from the initial idea to a viable business model.
The workshops take place regularly—usually monthly. For both phases, you need a referral from the Employment Agency. Please contact your designated contact person at the Employment Agency for this.
Who is Start-up Compact for?
This program is designed for people in the Hannover region who want to start a business while unemployed. Together, we’ll turn your idea into a viable business model and prepare you specifically for launching your business.
Our program: two phases for starting a business
Phase 1 – Startup Check
In the Startup Check, we analyze your business idea and provide you with concrete guidance on how to develop it into a sustainable business concept. You’ll receive a clear roadmap for your next steps. Participation requires a referral from the Employment Agency.
Phase 2 – Four-Week Startup Workshop
In our startup workshop, you’ll develop the foundation for your business plan step by step. Experienced startup coaches and instructors will provide you with personalized support on all questions related to the market, marketing, and finances.
Each week has its own focus:
Week 1: Business Model Development– Refine your idea, identify your unique selling proposition, and flesh out the model.
Week 2: Market & Target Audience – Market analysis, customer perspective, practical testing of the idea.
Week 3: Marketing & Sales – Resource planning, marketing strategy, online presence (website, social media).
Week 4: Finance & Taxes – Financial plan, capital requirements, legal and tax fundamentals.
