Diversity in companies offers decisive advantages—whether in decision-making, focusing on customer needs, attracting and retaining young talent and skilled workers, or fostering innovation—and thus provides a long-term competitive advantage.

To promote diversity in companies, a corresponding corporate culture and its integration into internal processes are essential.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as larger medium-sized companies from the Hannover region that are making progress in this area and wish to implement diversity-promoting measures and processes

• initiate and further develop new operational processes and organizational structures,
• Significantly increase employees’ knowledge of diversity
• Adapt products to new target markets and target groups across various dimensions of diversity

can now apply for a grant from the Region Hannover’s Economic and Employment Development Office to support their initiatives.
