Workshop: Diversity
Part 1In this workshop series, discover how to leverage diversity as a strength and create inclusive work cultures—for greater innovation, satisfaction, and sustainable business success.
In today’s rapidly changing world, turbulent times are a constant reality for businesses. Conflicts within and between companies, as well as with institutions, often lead to frustration and uncertainty. These negative factors significantly impair workforce productivity, which can also lead to resignations.
The resulting employee turnover incurs immense costs running into the billions and significantly undermines Germany’s economic strength.

If needed, participants can be referred to a pool of certified mediators, including those affiliated with the BMWA.
Conflicts in the workplace can arise quickly. Addressing these conflicts and resolving them collaboratively—whether independently or with support—promotes a stable corporate culture and has a positive impact on an employer’s attractiveness.
Conflicts must be resolved constructively so that employees can focus on their work and uninterrupted workflows can be ensured. In times of high demand for skilled workers, improving employee performance and fostering a positive work environment are essential. This is achieved, among other things, through collaborative conflict resolution.

The association MiB – Mediation im Betrieb e.V. – has made it its mission to make mediation in the workplace the norm: A strong conflict culture for strong companies. The association’s founders are executives, sole proprietors, entrepreneurs, and team players from a wide variety of industries and professional fields, so they are familiar with the challenges of all “conflict hotspots” that arise in the workplace, within teams, between employees, and with managers. The association’s founders work as freelancers and, among other things, serve as volunteer mediators. More information here.
