Programs Available During the Current Funding Period

  • Individual counselingfor those seeking advice and SMEs
  • Outreach counselingfor people with a migration background—because continuing education is most effective when it reaches everyone
  • New: “Experience in Transition” online workshop seriesfor HR managers at SMEsTopics:Knowledge transfer, age-appropriate work design, intergenerational collaborationGoal:To make better use of the experiential knowledge of older employees (age 50 and up)Partnership: With the Hannover Region’s Continuing Education Service Center (regioLab+)

The wbb supports individuals and companies on their journey—toward afuture-proof workforce.

Key Objectives

The project thus makes a concrete contribution to securing a skilled workforce in the region: on the one hand, by strengthening individual employability; on the other, by developing organizational strategies that retain experience and expertise within the company.

Specific objectives include:

  • To increase participation in continuing education in the companies receiving counseling and thereby improve not only employees’ skills but also their job satisfaction
  • to ensure that more people with limited access to education take advantage of the continuing education counseling services.

Through its cooperation with regioLab in the Hannover region, the Continuing Education Advisory Service (wbb) is part of the continuing education network based there.
