The designs of these aircraft are becoming more robust, their control systems easier to operate, and their acquisition and operating costs are steadily declining. These developments are enabling more and more cost-effective applications in sectors such as manufacturing, skilled trades, and agriculture. However, small and medium-sized enterprises in particular are often unaware of the realistic applications available.
Through the“Multicopter Region”initiative, the Region Hannover Economic Development Agency serves as the point of contact for companies in this technology field and fosters intensive exchange at networking events. During these “Copter Days,” current project results are discussed, and new ideas and partnerships for future projects are identified.
