Operational mobility

On April 25, 2023, the Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony (KEAN), the Climate Protection Agency Region Hannover and the Economic Development Agency of the State Capital Hannover invited to the workshop on corporate mobility in Vahrenwalder Straße in the House of Economic Development in Hannover. The organizers were represented by Yannick Heringhaus and Neele Birnbaum from KEAN, Tobias Knoke from Klimaschutzagentur Region Hannover and Tagore Tobschall from Wirtschaftsförderung Landeshauptstadt Hannover.

In the half-day workshop, almost 20 company representatives took the opportunity to learn about measures and instruments for the sustainable design of mobility in their company. The experts invited were Knut Petersen from EcoLibro GmbH on the topic of incentive models, Julia Maulhardt as the HWK's electromobility consultant, Julian Müller from ACE Auto Club Europa e.V. on bicycle mobility and Frank Tristram from FT Unternehmensberatung on the topic of business parks.

After a brief introduction and presentation of the organizers, the event got straight down to business. By presenting the topics, the speakers were able to win over companies for their working groups, where companies exchanged ideas extensively with each other and with the experts in small groups. Discussions on corporate mobility management included push and pull factors that avoid, shift and improve basic principles, how cycling can be promoted in the company and how companies can best switch to electromobility. The results were then presented in plenary, open questions answered and challenges discussed in detail.

Afterwards, funding programs were presented to make it easier for companies to get started with company mobility management. Neele Birnbaum kicked things off with KEAN'simpulse consultingfor SMEs - company mobility management. Tobias Knoke then provided information about theE-Mobility-Checkof the Climate Protection Agency Region Hannover. Both consultations are free of charge for companies.

Over a light snack, all participants took the opportunity to exchange ideas on corporate mobility management and to network.
