Structural data of the state capital Hannover
Location decisions by companies must be well prepared and solid foundations make decisions easier. For this reason, the statistics office of the state capital Hannover has compiled structural data on Hannover's 51 districts and 13 boroughs in a publication. This report also contains data from the business register.
With the "Structural Data", the state capital of Hanover publishes statistical evaluations on various areas of urban life every year. The data show indicators from the various areas of life in the state capital and their different structures in the urban area.
The statistical overviews describe:
Population, private households, migration, buildings and apartments, employees subject to social insurance contributions at their place of residence, unemployed persons, recipients of transfer payments to secure their livelihood and motor vehicles.
This is preceded by general key figures such as area, population density and average household size. The statistical evaluations are presented in the form of colored maps, graphs and tables.
In addition to the current data, a five-year comparison provides a look at developments and changes in the city as a whole as well as in the city districts and boroughs.
Statistical profiles of the city districts and boroughs 2020
The "Statistical profiles of the city districts and boroughs" are a supplement to the "Structural data of the city districts and boroughs" published annually. They are updated every two years.
Further information on local developments in Hanover's districts can be found in the brochure "Social diversity, dynamics and change".
