Girls* and Technology Day (MuT) aims to break down gender stereotypes in career choices and highlight the diverse career opportunities and prospects in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for girls.

Workshops encourage female students to get involved. The groups are guided by role models who are also available to answer questions about career choices. Girls* and Technology Day has been held annually since 2012 and is financially supported by the Hanover Region.  

The Hannover Region, through its Department of Economic and
Employment Promotion and provides proportional funding for the project.
