Founding event of the Alliance for Biodiversity Hanover

What do the pharmaceutical company, the car manufacturer and the bakery have in common? They all need nature to keep their business running. They depend on intact ecosystems and biodiversity.

Intact ecosystems form an essential basis for economic stability. However, the loss of biodiversity is progressing worldwide - with noticeable effects on supply chains, for example.

You can find out which measures contribute to the protection of biodiversity, how to implement them and how they benefit your company in the Alliance for Biodiversity.

The alliance connects SMEs with each other, shows good examples of companies and is a point of contact for aspects relating to biodiversity. Participation in the alliance and its services are free of charge.

IHK Hannover, DIHK Service GmbH and GROSSMARKT HANNOVER invite you to the founding of the Alliance for Biodiversity Hannover on June 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the grounds of GROSSMARKT HANNOVER.

"Biodiversity is not a nice-to-have, but the basis of our supply chains as a fruit and vegetable wholesale market - that's why we support the alliance with full conviction ," says Jörn Böttcher, Managing Director of GROSSMARKTS HANNOVER and host of the alliance launch. He will give us a tour of the company premises and, together with Heike Hanisch from the Hanover Environmental Center, show us how logistics areas and spaces for nature can be combined.
