The industrial sector is responsible for a good third of Germany's final energy consumption. A large proportion of greenhouse gas emissions from industry can be directly attributed to process heat. This is heavily dependent on fossil fuels.
In this online event, we would like to show the possibilities for decarbonizing energy-intensive drying processes and increasing their efficiency. Dr. Anne-Tretau from MFPA Weimar will shed light on the possibilities of using microwave drying. Dr. Jens Strack from Therm-Process-Consulting Freiberg will provide insights into typical efficiency measures in drying processes.
