Review of the 18th WirtschaftsDienst Forum on energy efficiency

Germany is to become #climateneutral by 2045. The goal of reducing emissions to "net zero" is an enormous socio-political challenge.

A major key to achieving this goal lies in existing buildings , as they are responsible for around 35 percent of total greenhouse gas emissions . With this in mind, hannoverimpuls was delighted to partner the 18th WirtschaftsDienst Forum this week on the topic of "Energy efficiency: challenges in existing buildings" under the patronage of Lower Saxony's Minister of Construction, Olaf Lies . The event also provided the ideal setting for the presentation of the regional market development team for serial building refurbishment by Doris Petersen as Managing Director and Olaf Daebler as the responsible project manager at hannoverimpuls GmbH. On behalf of the German Energy Agency (dena), the Climate Protection Agency Hannover Region , target GmbH and hannoverimpuls GmbH will continue to develop this future topic as a market development team in the coming years and create the corresponding structures and framework conditions. This locally based team will automatically shorten and sustainably optimize the radius of action for the players.

The next opportunity to find out more about the background and details of the market development team is the #EnergyDay on June 14 at the Sparkasse Hannover premises. A few places are still available. If you are interested, be quick and register directly here .
