Keynote speech (women only): Building blocks on the way to a sustainable company

Many female founders are addressing the issue of sustainability in their own business model. We invited the Economic Development Agency of the City of Hanover to this event. Learn about the background to the ÖKOPROFIT project, which is recognized throughout Europe and helps to reduce costs while protecting the environment. The cooperative approach between cities/municipalities and their local companies enables them to work together on ecologically sustainable further development of the companies, which benefit from professional advice and direct exchange of experience. ÖKOPROFIT Hannover is a joint project between the state capital and region of Hannover and local companies.

Our speaker Sven Weißenberg, Dipl. Verwaltungsbetriebswirt FH, has been employed by the Economic Development Department of the City of Hanover since 2007 and has been project manager for the ÖKOPROFIT Hanover environmental program since 2008.
