The new Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) (in full: "Act to Increase Energy Efficiency and to Amend the Energy Services Act") came into force in mid-November 2023. Among other things, it regulates requirements for companies with regard to their energy efficiency - including the introduction of energy and environmental management systems, the creation of implementation plans and the creation of a central waste heat platform.
As part of the online event, lawyers Jacqueline Anni Rothkopf and Lena Ziska from the energy law firm RITTER GENT COLLEGEN will provide information on the (new) obligations and deadlines of the EnEfG. Professor Dr. Uli Nissen from the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences will then present the standard on which the economic evaluation of energy-related investments is based, DIN EN 17463 - also known as the VALERI standard.
