The demands on companies to reduce the emission of climate-damaging gases are constantly increasing. Both in the area of individual company logistics and with regard to their own production processes, it is therefore necessary to use new technologies that enable CO2 neutrality in the long term.
The use of green hydrogen appears promising for achieving this goal. This enables, for example, fuel cell-powered commercial vehicles for CO2-neutral transportation or drying and welding processes with a low CO2 footprint. The use of hydrogen also enables the medium to long-term storage of energy within the company.
As part of the Hydrogen Meetup #1, the Hannover Region's Economic and Employment Promotion Agency and the Institutefor Turbomachinery and Fluid Dynamics atLeibniz Universität Hannover, together with AspensGmbH,will be presentinganoverview of the potential applications of hydrogen.
Interested parties will gain an insight into which technology can be used to realize mobile and stationary applications. In addition, the components of a hydrogen-oriented value chain will be presented, as well as the components with which the production, transportation and consumption of hydrogen can be implemented.
