Hydrogen Meetup #2 - Developing products for a green hydrogen
economy

Green hydrogen is one way of reducing emissions of climate-damaging gases and improving the environmental sustainability of companies. Numerous products are needed for the production, transportation, storage and use of hydrogen so that many companies can take advantage of this opportunity.

As part of the "Hydrogen Meetup #1", institutes and companies have already presented potential products for applications in the field of "green hydrogen". The Hydrogen Campus Hannover team then supported the initiation of several projects to ensure their successful implementation.

At the Hydrogen Meetup#2, speakers from the Hannover Region Economic and Employment Promotion Agency, nassmagnet GmbH, the Instituteof Turbomachinery and Fluid Dynamics andthe Instituteof Technical Combustionwill presentdifferentanswers to this question.

The product examples of valves, combustion engines and the hydrogen-poweredmulticopterillustrate different approaches to the realization of new products. Following the presentations, a tour of the test stands at the Institute of Technical Combustion will provide interesting insights into the existing infrastructure.

The event will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the form of a hybrid event. The agenda of the Meetup includes:

Participants can follow the presentations in seminar room 1a/1b of the Hannover Production Technology Center while observing social distancing rules. Afterwards, there will be a guided tour of the test field of the Institute of Technical Combustion. A 2G rule applies to the event.
