To ensure that you are well prepared linguistically for your training,
- AWO – Arbeiterwohlfahrt Region Hannover e.V.
- ISK – Institute for Languages and Communication e.V.
- Bildungsverein Soziales Lernen und Kommunikation e.V.
preparatory vocational language courses for prospective trainees in dual vocational training.
What can I learn?
In the vocational language course, you will improve your German language skills, learn technical terms, and work on technical texts in a group.
You will learn working and learning techniques that will also help you later in your training to understand texts and to be able to reproduce and summarize their content. Writing training, such as independently writing texts in various forms, also plays an important role.
The lessons are based on the content of vocational schools in order to prepare you as well as possible for your training.
How can I participate?
You have already signed your training contract and will begin your training in August or September 2026.
You also need to be eligible to participate. You can obtain this directly from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees upon request. The application is submitted via the language course provider. To do this, you need:
- Copy of the training contract
- Copy of your current residence permit or identity document (if you are an EU citizen, send a copy of your passport or identity card)
- Copy of your most recent language certificate
Participation is free of charge for you.
When do the courses take place?
The courses start in April, May, June, and possibly July 2025 and last for approximately 1-2 months.
