Mobility

The tightening of emission limits in the automotive sector, the digitalization of transport systems, the changing perception of one's own car and, last but not least, the emergence of new competitors with simpler drive systems pose major challenges for the automotive industry. Over 30,000 people work in the automotive and mobility sector in the Hannover Region alone.

The development of the mobility market by the traditional electricity and gas industries (e-mobility, natural gas/biomethane cars and trucks, fuel cell vehicles) offers them new sales markets at the expense of the mineral oil industry. New product development opportunities are opening up for vehicle development and new business areas for domestic energy suppliers.
