For years, the Roberta RegioZentrum Hannover (RRZ) has been helping to get young people, especially girls, excited about technology and robotics in particular. It also supports schools and teachers in incorporating robotics into their lessons.

The program is diverse and ranges from taster courses, project days and weeks, to teaching units and participation in competitions, to certified training for teachers.

Since its inception in 2013, the RRZ's offerings have grown steadily, and the cooperation with the robot factory at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), which was initiated in 2018, has resulted in a comprehensive robotics training concept from school to university teaching.

With the consolidation and expansion of current offerings toward career orientation and increased cooperation with regional companies, the Roberta concept is to be further expanded, thereby continuing the targeted promotion of young talent in the Hanover region in the STEM field.

The project is sponsored by robospace gGmbH.
