Transformation opportunity dialog

Many people are talking about the "green economy". Back in 2012, the topic was a key topic at the UN Rio20+ sustainability summit. In other words, the green economy has been discussed in theory for over a decade, both nationally and internationally. In everyday business life, these topics became noticeably relevant for the first time with the crises of recent years, which affected every company in terms of energy costs, for example. Here it became clear that there is a large gap between the theoretical concept of the green economy and everyday practice.

However, one thing is clear: the green economy is key to ensuring the sustainability of our economy - especially for the Hannover Region. But there are also open questions that need to be discussed and whose answers can offer real opportunities: What is the vision of the future behind the green economy? What is the connection between the economy and sustainability? How can the green economy be implemented in practice and to what extent do companies, administrations and employees bear social responsibility in this regard?

We would like to put these questions up for discussion at the start of the "Transformation Opportunities Dialogue" series of events and discuss with you how we can secure our future through sustainable business practices.
