Hanover Alliance for Biodiversity – Invitation to a Rooftop Walk

Across approximately 1,400 m² of roof space, we’ll explore various roof types—from herb roofs to solar green roofs and retention roofs—and learn how they contribute to biodiversity, climate protection, energy generation, and sustainable urban development. You’ll also gain insights into funding opportunities, technical requirements, and the integration of roof utilization concepts into new construction and existing building projects.

The Hannover Alliance for Biodiversity, initiated by the Hannover Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Hannover) in collaboration with DIHK Service GmbH, focuses on the economic integration of biodiversity strategies into business practices and supply chains to minimize risks posed by extreme weather and secure resources in the long term.

The Region Hannover Economic Development Agency is a member of the network. The network and the invitation to the rooftop tour are open to all interested representatives of companies from the Hannover region. Participation in the event is free of charge.
