Cultural diversity has long been an integral part of our working world—and when leveraged correctly, it can provide us with enormous benefits. However, without the necessary knowledge, misunderstandings and conflicts can arise at any moment. It is particularly crucial for managers to understand cultural differences in order to lead confidently and create a harmonious work environment.

In our intercultural training course “Better Understanding International Employees,” we offer you the tools you need in three practice-oriented modules:

Workshop 1

Communication and Collaboration with Indian Professionals

September 4, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Communication is the foundation of successful collaboration—yet it is also where misunderstandings most often arise. In this workshop, you’ll learn about typical differences between German and Indian communication and work styles. You’ll discover how feedback, understanding of hierarchy, and decision-making processes can be culturally influenced and what impact this has on day-to-day collaboration.

Using practical examples, you’ll develop a better understanding of the perspective of Indian professionals and gain insights into how to communicate respectfully and effectively in your day-to-day work.

Workshop 2

Motivation and Retention of Indian Professionals

September 11, September 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

What motivates Indian professionals, and what expectations do they have of employers, managers, and teams? You’ll learn what Indian employees value about the German workplace and which aspects they may find challenging. This will help you identify misunderstandings early on and retain Indian employees in your company over the long term.

The workshop provides insights into how cultural differences can be leveraged as an opportunity to foster understanding, synergies, and successful teamwork.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This training is aimed atHR managers and other interested employees at small and medium-sized businesses. The number of participants is limited to 20. The training modules build on one another but can also be attended individually.

TRAINER

We are pleased to have Ms.Tina Patel leading this training series. She is an intercultural trainer, coach, and lecturer with many years of experience in collaboration between Germany and India.
