R (VR, AR, 360° videos) - Technology and teaching is still a very young combination. Content for lessons is rare. In some cases, there is a lack of ideas and concepts for use in the classroom. This is where we at VRECH would like to work with you.
In the workshop, we develop ideas and concepts on how XR technology can be meaningfully integrated into lessons.
- What didactic considerations do we need to make?
- What are the requirements?
- What technical concepts and devices do we need?
We look at which materials are already available and can be used directly and together we consider and collect where there is a lack of content and what content is needed to ensure the effective use of VR in lessons. Finally, we determine a transfer for teaching in schools and training and reflect on the ideas developed.
We do not provide a complete solution, but offer an experimental space and room for collegial exchange and experimentation. The results are bundled and made available to all participants.
There are also plans to pass on the resulting ideas to development studios so that the idea in the workshop can be turned into a real application in VR. Perhaps your idea will become an application for your classroom?
Recommendation but not a prerequisite
To take part in the workshop, we recommend that you have already attended an XR-Basics training course organized by VRECH or that you already have your own experience in VR. However, this is not a mandatory requirement. You are also welcome to take part without any previous experience!
Teachers at vocational and general education schools with a desire and interest in trying things out, developing new ways of teaching and trying out new technology.
The event is open to teachers from all types of schools. It is not necessary to have your own technology or previous knowledge.
