The project "360° - Erfolgreich Dual virtuell" by the Institut für Pädagogische Professionalität e.V. tested how young people can produce VR films of challenging situations in the context of education on their own and how these VR films can be used pedagogically to reflect on and further develop their own social skills. We would like to share our experiences and knowledge from the project with teachers and educators in a series of workshops.
Who we want to address:
- Teachers at general and vocational schools
- Educators with an interest in the use of digital media
- No prior technical knowledge of VR is required.
- you will have an overview and your own practical experience of the use of VR technology (hardware and software) and the production process for VR films,
- develop your own ideas for using VR films in social skills training for your young people or pupils.
The individual workshop events:
Module 1 Introduction
The pedagogical use of VR video technology for reflection and social skills training
- Didactic implications based on the SAMR model (Rainer Krüger)
- Practical example "360° Successful Dual Virtual" (Bernd Schlierf)
Module 1 is mandatory for participants in preparation for Module 2
Module 2 Workshop: Shooting VR videos in practice
The group will be split up. Participation is only necessary on one of the days:
1st subgroup: Saturday, 24.06.2023 from 10:00 to 13:00
2nd subgroup: Friday, 30.06.2023 from 15:00 to 18:00

Module 3: VR video editing with the professional VR-STUDIO software
for workshop participants and other interested parties
