Learning German and mastering training

Language is the key to understanding and learning - both in the classroom and on the job. But when vocational school starts and language skills are lacking, the frustration is great. It is not uncommon for young people to fail exams and sooner or later drop out of training. To prevent this from happening, there are targeted and free language support services. The flyer "Sprache beherrschen - Ausbildung meistern" provides information on what these are, who can provide advice and where you can register for a language course.
The flyer is available in two versions and is aimed at companies providing training on the one hand and teaching and advisory staff on the other.
"Targeted language support is the be-all and end-all of successful vocational training," says Ulf-Birger Franz, Head of the Hannover Region's Department of Economics and Education. "We want to provide training companies and vocational schools with targeted support to give young immigrants a good start."
- Why is language support important?
- When should I take care of it?
- What support is available?
- How much time is required?
- And which course is the right one for which language level?
Training companies can find answers to these questions and tailored advice not only on the flyer, but also at the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Hanover Chamber of Crafts and the ALBuM coordination office of the state capital Hanover.
Counselors at vocational schools can also contact the Regional Schools and Student Affairs Team of the Hannover Region (phone: (0511) 616-27180) with questions about language support.
