Strong for life – shaping the future with self-efficacy and career prospects
Background
The transition from school to work poses major challenges for many young people. In view of social uncertainties – such as climate change, economic crises, technological changes, and global conflicts – students are finding it increasingly difficult to develop clear career prospects.
At the same time, the German training market is complex and changing: the variety of options, combined with the pressure to make the "right" decision, often leads to overwhelm, fears about the future, and the feeling of not being able to meet the requirements.
Aim of the project
This is where the pilot project "Strong for Life" comes in . It supports students in overcoming current and future challenges by providing them with practical tools and methods to shape their lives and career choices in a self-determined and resilient manner .
By strengthening self-awareness, stress management, and future skills, young people develop more self-confidence and the ability to take action. They experience themselves as self-effective—and are thus motivated to shape their professional future actively and purposefully.
Specific goals
- Developing initial career prospects
- Reducing fears about the future and strengthening mental resilience
- Promoting a confident transition to training and work
