Workshop Series: Introduction to Information Security with the ISMS Workshop

Use the ISMS Workshop to protect your company data and prevent potential attacks. This free workshop series, organized by KI.WI Hannover and the Cybersecurity Transfer Center, offers hands-on guidance to help you systematically improve your information security by learning how to conduct a risk analysis, implement security measures, and develop an emergency plan.

Workshop Content:

• Module 1: Fundamentals of Information Security 
• Module 2: Information Worth Protecting
• Module 3: Identifying and Understanding Protection Needs and Risks
• Module 4: Assessing and Managing Risks
• Module 5: Risk Treatment Measures in Detail

Target Audience

• Executive management, IT, IS, and ITSEC managers at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the commercial sector
• Companies that do not yet have a fully developed Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Employees from companies in the commercial sector who wish to assess their level of knowledge regarding ISMS
• Note: We ask thatcompanies and freelancers offering IT security or IS services refrain from registering.

The in-person sessions will take place at the same location.

If there is sufficient interest and a sufficient number of participants in the basic course, an optional advanced course covering the following modules could be offered in person.
