Sustainable management in practice

Sustainability reports, supply chain law, CO2 pricing, CSR. The demands on companies are clear: conserve resources, reduce emissions and improve working conditions. The pressure to act comes from three directions: political regulations, market requirements and the convictions of employees or entrepreneurs themselves.

But how can companies reconcile economic sustainability on the one hand with ecological and social sustainability on the other, when the latter only costs money? Or are there also economic benefits? How can the requirements of stakeholders be met while at the same time arguing the additional costs to customers? What is the Supply Chain Act, for whom is it relevant and how do you build sustainable supply chains? And what is true cost counting anyway?

These are some of the questions we received after our customer survey at the beginning of the year, so we decided to include an info point on "Sustainable business in practice" in our webinar series "innovativ jetzt - Forschen für Nachhaltigkeit".

On Wednesday, July 6 between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.,Ms. Annika Rudolph (Arqum GmbH), Michael Barsakides (CSR Arena Hannover) and Ms. Kerstin Thies (RICOH Deutschland GmbH) willanswerthese and other spontaneous questions from the audience in the form of an interview and give tips on your individual problems. In addition, Mr. Sven Weißenberg (City of Hanover) will give you an insight into the ÖKOPROFIT program.

You are very welcome to attend, take away answers to your questions and exchange ideas with each other and with the experts on very practical questions about sustainable management - practical, tangible and concrete. You are also welcome to forward this e-mail to your sustainability officers or other interested parties. Please register for the web meeting at the following link:https://hannoverimpuls-de.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEpcOmoqzktHdMoUPUloMNZlArnCwJLJEbk
