The Roberta RegioZentrum Hannover (RRZ), certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems (IAIS), has been helping to get young people, especially girls, interested in technology and robotics in particular for years. Schools and teachers are also supported in introducing robotics into the classroom.

The program is diverse and ranges from taster courses, project days and weeks, teaching units and participation in competitions to certified teacher training.

Since its foundation in 2013, the RRZ's offering has grown steadily and the cooperation with the roboterfabrik at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), which was initiated in 2018, has created a consistent robotics training concept from school to university teaching.

The Roberta concept is to be further expanded with the consolidation and expansion of current offers in the direction of career orientation and increased cooperation with regional companies, thus continuing the targeted promotion of young talent in the STEM sector in the Hannover Region.

The project is run by robospace gGmbH.
