Particularly in projects where full-time project management is not possible, self-management and clarification of the project manager's role is complex. Day-to-day management is about who talks to whom about what and when, in order to prevent conflicts and project deviations from arising in the first place.
The question therefore arises as to how framework conditions can be created in a (temporary!) project so that the project objectives can be achieved together with the project team. Especially when the challenge is added to the fact that the individual operational priorities of employees change frequently or that they do not (yet) have the necessary skills.
As sensible as it is, hybrid cooperation in virtual spaces and hybrid project management combining traditional and agile methods do not make the management task any easier.
The speakers provide information on how they lead in their projects and which methods and social skills are used sensibly. In addition to specific topics such as conflict and stakeholder management, this also includes the interplay of responsibilities and the distribution of power, e.g. across several shoulders.
The aim is to gain inspiration for your own lateral leadership through the examples presented from various projects and to exchange ideas about typical situations with other participants beyond the presentations.
The cooperation partners GABAL, GPM, gfo, GI, Hannover IT e.V., Region Hannover, VDI in cooperation with Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and Leibniz University of Applied Sciences are pleased to once again be able to offer you an interesting and practice-oriented web forum with this face-to-face event, the 24th PraxisForum Projektmanagement.
After the presentations, you can ask questions to the speakers.
Lateral leadership: Invitation to a change of perspective!
Prof. Dr. Carolina C. Schnitzler (Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts)
The aim of the "PraxisForum Projektmanagement" series of events is to show how promising projects can be implemented in small and medium-sized companies. To this end, speakers from the field present project management methods, tools and experiences to company representatives and interested parties using concrete examples.
For questions on company-specific project implementation, the "PraxisForum" organizes an exchange between participants and speakers as part of the events. The events take place twice a year, including at the Haus der Region.
Take the opportunity to learn from other companies in order to further develop your own project management.
