The Startup-Impuls competition offers people interested in going into business the opportunity to test out the market viability of their entrepreneurial ideas and to develop a business concept. Applicants will take part in support and advice programmes and will receive personal start-up coaching to help them on the way to setting up their own business. The aim is to turn entrepreneurial ideas into marketable business models.
There are three categories of prize:
Main prize worth 50,000 euros. The focus of this prize is on the international potential of business ideas. The three winners in this category will receive a trip to a worldwide start-up hotspot, such as Silicon Valley or Tel Aviv.
“Solo-Start” special prize to promote the three best business concepts. One prize worth 10.000 euros and two prizes worth 2,000 euros. This prize will go to founders who have set up in business alone or intend to do so. In this case, Solo refers to the number of founders – not to the number of employees.
“University & Science” special prize worth 5,000 euros and including individual consulting support from experts such as Gehrke Econ Unternehmensberatungsgesellschaft mbH worth up to 10,000 euros. Applications are welcomed from applicants direct from university who now wish to set up in business.
