But without the necessary knowledge, misunderstandings and conflicts lurk everywhere. It is particularly crucial for managers to understand cultural differences in order to lead confidently and create a harmonious work environment.
In our intercultural training program “Better Understanding International Colleagues,” we offer you the tools you need in three practical modules:
Training 1
May 5, 2026, 9 :00 AM – 12:30 PM
Communication and Rules
Communication is the key to successful collaboration—but it is also one of the biggest sources of misunderstandings and conflicts. In this training, you will put yourself in the shoes of international professionals and experience how different communication styles can be. You will learn how cultural differences affect communication and why misunderstandings often seem inevitable. Together, we will examine how communication habits differ across cultures and how we can use these insights to avoid challenges in our daily work and promote open, respectful communication.
Training 2
, May 21, 2026, 9 :00 AM – 12:30 PM
Perception and Culture
In this workshop, we make the topic of “Perception and Culture” tangible. You will learn how to better understand everyday situations with international professionals and prevent misunderstandings caused by misinterpretations. We will also address culture shock and work together to develop strategies for avoiding it within your team and retaining your international employees in the long term.
Training 3
May 29, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Intercultural Conflicts
Cultural differences can lead to conflicts—that’s perfectly normal. While the first workshops in this series focus on prevention, in this module you’ll learn how to recognize and understand existing conflicts. Together, we’ll develop concrete solutions to effectively resolve intercultural tensions and strengthen teamwork.
The training is aimed at HR managers and other interested employees of small and medium-sized enterprises. The number of participants is limited to 15. The training modules build on one another but can also be attended individually.
We are pleased to have Ms.Vanessa Geruschkatleading this training series. She is a certified intercultural trainer and, in her primary role, supports the recruitment and integration of foreign professionals at a large company. She incorporates the experience and practical examples gained from this work into her training sessions.
